About / Protect Our Bodies

Careful information.
Practical choices.

A project led by Jessica, created to make thoughtful lower-plastic routines and useful sources easier to find.

Less hunting.
More useful context.

There is plenty of information about plastics and environmental chemicals. Turning it into a manageable household decision can be harder.

This site starts with practical routines: use what you own, keep intended use and care instructions in view, and think about replacements when they are actually needed. The resource library provides direct links for readers who want to go deeper.

The aim is informed choice—not fear, perfection, or a promise that one material can solve every health question.

Clarity is part of care.

  • Source-researched means source-researched. These guides summarize identifiable sources. They are not personal product tests, laboratory testing, or independent expert review.
  • Keep the limits visible. We distinguish established food-safety guidance, precautionary choices, and open research questions.
  • Keep experience separate from evidence. A personal account is not scientific proof. Any first-person experience shared here will be clearly identified as personal experience.
  • Make sources easy to reach. Links go directly to the relevant organizations, guides, books, or media where possible, with access requirements noted.

Educational, not medical. The site does not diagnose, treat, assess individual risk, or replace professional care. Discuss health, pregnancy, or fertility concerns with a qualified clinician.

Know what is—and isn’t—here.

Links do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with the researchers or organizations named. No affiliate links, paid product placements, checkout, or newsletter signup are included in this site.

The site code includes no analytics, advertising, forms, or tracking cookies. The optional checklist stays on the page; hosting providers may maintain access logs. External destinations have their own privacy practices and may require an account, subscription, purchase, or email signup.

Product ratings and certification programs use their own criteria. A linked rating is not a guarantee that a product is risk-free.
