Start small / A gentle starter checklist

One routine.
One question.
Your own pace.

A simple way to move from information to intention—without buying a new set of everything.

Step 1 / Notice

Take a look at a place you use often: preparing lunch, getting dressed, or putting leftovers away. Simply notice the items involved. There is nothing to throw out today.

Step 2 / Ask

Try: “What is this item made from?” or “What use is it designed for?” Read its label or care instructions before deciding what, if anything, you want to change.

Step 3 / Learn

Explore the source library. Pay attention to the substance or exposure being discussed, when the information was published, and what the source leaves uncertain.

Step 4 / Plan

This might be learning a care instruction, making a note for the next time an item needs replacing, or choosing to do more research. Consider cost, convenience, and any trade-offs—not just the material.

Step 5 / Reflect

After a week, or whenever you have time, reflect on what was easy and what was not. Keep a useful step, revise the plan, or leave it for later. This is not a scorecard for your health.

This is an organizational checklist, not a health intervention. It does not measure exposure or promise a health outcome.
